Download the .dmg file by clicking the download button above. The file will be saved to your Downloads folder.
Open the .dmg file. Double-click the downloaded .dmg file. A new window will appear showing the Hopscotch Play app icon and an Applications folder shortcut.
You will see: [Hopscotch Play icon] → [Applications folder]
Drag the app to Applications. Click and drag the Hopscotch Play icon onto the Applications folder shortcut. This copies the app to your Applications folder.
Eject the disk image. Right-click the Hopscotch Play disk image on your desktop or Finder sidebar and select Eject. You can also delete the .dmg file from your Downloads folder.
Open Hopscotch Play. Open Finder, go to Applications, and double-click Hopscotch Play to launch the app.
Sign in. Use your Hopscotch provider credentials to sign in and start using the app.
Download the .msix file by clicking the download button above. The file will be saved to your Downloads folder.
Open the installer. Double-click the downloaded .msix file. The Windows App Installer dialog will appear showing the app name, version, and publisher.
Click Install. Click the Install button in the App Installer dialog. Windows will install the app automatically.
The installation takes about 30 seconds
Launch the app. After installation completes, click Launch in the installer dialog. You can also find Hopscotch Play in your Start Menu — search for “Hopscotch Play.”
Sign in. Use your Hopscotch provider credentials to sign in and start using the app.
Option 1: Google Play (Recommended)
Get added as an internal tester. Ask your team admin to add your Google account email as an internal tester in Google Play Console.
Accept the opt-in link. Open the testing invitation link shared by your admin. This makes the app available in your Play Store.
Install from Play Store. Search for the app in the Play Store or use the direct link from the invitation. Tap Install.
Updates are automatic. Future builds will auto-update via the Play Store based on your device settings.
Option 2: Direct APK Install
Download the .apk file by tapping the download button above. The file will be saved to your device's Downloads folder.
Open the APK file. Tap the downloaded file in your notification bar or open your Files app and navigate to Downloads.
You may need to allow installation from this source
Android will ask you to allow installing apps from your browser or file manager. This is a one-time setting:
Tap Settings when prompted.
Enable “Allow from this source”.
Go back and tap the APK file again to install.
Tap Install. Review the permissions and tap Install. The installation takes a few seconds.
Open Hopscotch Play Connect. Tap Open after installation, or find the app in your app drawer.
Sign in. Use your Hopscotch provider credentials to sign in and start using the app.
Get added as a tester. Ask your team admin to add your Apple ID email as an internal tester in App Store Connect. You will receive an email invitation from Apple.
Install TestFlight from the App Store if you don't already have it. TestFlight is Apple's official app for testing beta apps.
Accept the invitation. Open the email from Apple on your iPhone or iPad and tap the link. This adds Hopscotch Play Connect to your TestFlight app.
Install from TestFlight. Open the TestFlight app, find Hopscotch Play Connect, and tap Install.
Open Hopscotch Play Connect. Tap Open in TestFlight, or find the app on your home screen.
Sign in. Use your Hopscotch provider credentials to sign in and start using the app.
Future updates are automatic. TestFlight will notify you when new builds are available and can auto-install them.
